Meet Miss Donna

Hi, I’m Miss Donna! I’m an early childhood educator and licensed Zumbini® instructor with many years of experience teaching and creating meaningful experiences for babies, toddlers, and young children.

My background includes teaching Pre-K and Kindergarten, serving as an Assistant Director in early childhood education, and working as a Director of Enrichment Programs in New York City. Throughout my career, I’ve specialized in music and movement, sensory exploration, art, yoga, early literacy, and Mommy & Me programs.

My teaching philosophy is inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach and the belief that young children learn best through play, movement, music, creativity, and hands-on discovery. Whether we’re exploring sensory materials, making music, creating art, dancing, cooking, or simply discovering something new together, I strive to make every experience joyful and developmentally meaningful.

I especially love working with babies and toddlers alongside their parents and caregivers. My classes are designed not only to support a child’s social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development, but also to create a welcoming space where families can connect, play, learn, and make memories together.

Through Casa Learning with Miss Donna, I bring engaging early childhood enrichment experiences directly to families, playgroups, community spaces, and schools throughout the Bay Harbor, Bal Harbour, Surfside, and surrounding Miami areas.

For me, teaching little ones isn’t just about planning an activity—it’s about creating an environment where children feel safe to explore, express themselves, build confidence, and develop a lifelong love of learning.
